Newcastle United face Wolverhampton Wanderers tomorrow night in the EFL Cup third round.

Speaking exclusively to the Chronicle, Newcastle new boy Isaac Hayden explained how his side’s League Cup tie against Wolverhampton Wanderers will hold equal importance to their league games.
The Magpies put in a dismal display against Wolves on Saturday, as their five-game win streak came to an abrupt end.
Hayden, though, insisted his side will be 100 per cent focused tomorrow night against the Midlands side, telling the Chronicle:
Isaac Hayden scores for Newcastle
“You want to win this as much as a league game, Champions League or cup match. Whatever it is, it’s competitive and we go into it 100% focused. We want to get the Wolves result in the league out of our minds and focus on the next game.”
Hayden moved to St James’ Park from Arsenal this summer, and has featured in every single Championship game for the North East outfit.
Despite a poor start to their Championship campaign, the Magpies bounced back well, and reeled off five consecutive league wins.

Their performance on Saturday drew heavy criticism, however, as an error-strewn display allowed Wolves to win comfortably at St James’ Park.
Tomorrow night’s game will be vitally important for Rafa Benitez’ side, and they will want to get back to winning ways immediately before they face a crucial two-game spell with a trip to Aston Villa and a home fixture against promotion rivals Norwich City.
