Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has been linked with the Arsenal managerial job.

Earlier this month, the Celtic chief told Sky Sports that he will not stand in the way of former Liverpool boss Rodgers if he wants to take charge of Arsenal.
The Gunners are on the lookout for a new manager following the announcement that Arsene Wenger will leave at the end of the season.
According to latest odds on Sky Bet, Rodgers is 11/1 to take charge of the Gunners, with former Celtic and Arsenal forward Charlie Nicholas also recently suggesting that he would be a fit at Arsenal, as quoted by The Daily Record.
Former Celtic midfielder and manager Hay has defended Desmond’s controversial remarks.

Hay wrote in The Glasgow Evening Times: “I think the fact that Dermot Desmond was so relaxed when he was asked about the interest from Arsenal told a story in itself.
“I know some people felt as though that was a silly thing to do but I took the opposite view.
“To me it is a measure of Desmond that he will always play fair but ultimately I think he could say what he said because he is well aware that Brendan will be going nowhere.”

Worries for Celtic fans?
Rodgers is a brilliant manager, and one should not surprise if the Celtic boss is approached by Arsenal in the summer.
However, for the time being, the Celtic Park faithful should not worry, as the former Swansea City boss seems happy at the club and does not appear to be in a hurry to leave the club.
