West Ham United have been heavily linked with a double move for Fulham duo Tom Cairney and Ryan Fredericks this summer.
West Ham boss David Moyes was reportedly spotted twice at Fulham recently watching the pair.
Cairney was then spotted sat behind the West Ham dugout when the Hammers drew 1-1 away at Chelsea earlier this month.
The Hammers look all but assured of a place in the Premier League next season after picking up of late and establishing a seven point gap over the bottom three with five games remaining.
While one more point or win may still be needed Moyes clearly feels confident – not only of staying up but also keeping the West Ham job long-term – having been spotted on scouting missions including at Craven Cottage.
It comes after the Hammers were linked with Fulham stars Tom Cairney and Ryan Fredericks in January, as reported by the likes of Sky Sports.
But have West Ham’s hopes of going under the radar and creaming off two of the best talents in the second tier come unstuck after the pair’s new-found fame?
Right-back Fredericks and midfielder Cairney were both included in the PFA Championship team of the year will we undoubtedly raise their profiles.
Fredericks is out of contract in the summer and his future with the Cottagers reportedly hinges on whether Slavisa Jokanovic’s side manage promotion to the top flight.
Cairney meanwhile would likely set the Hammers back a record fee if they are serious about securing his services.
