West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing the Inter Milan left-back in the summer.
According to FC Inter news, West Ham are interested in signing Inter Milan’s ageing star Yuto Nagatomo in the summer.
The 31-year-old is currently spending the second half of the season on loan in Turkey with Galatasaray, but has hardly impressed during the five appearances that he has made thus far.

The Hammers have gone down the route of bringing experienced players into the club on free transfers or loans over the past couple of years, and it has proven to be a policy that has seriously backfired.
Joe Hart, Pablo Zabaleta and Patrice Evra have all been brought into the club since the start of the season, and many believe that the owners are more interested in securing themselves a bargain, rather than actually signing players with some kind of vision for the future in mind.
The east London outfit are well-stocked at left-back, with Aaron Cresswell and Arthur Masuaku already ahead of Evra in the pecking order, so why they would want to bring someone deemed not good enough for Inter Milan to the club is anyone’s guess.
Nagatomo, 31, has been a consistent performer throughout his career, and with 101 international caps for Japan to his name it is hard to argue that he doesn’t possess any kind of quality.
He is at the age now, though, where footballers generally begin their gradual decline, and West Ham should prove that they have learned from their past mistakes in the transfer market by avoiding a move for Nagatomo in the summer.
