Tottenham will find it even harder to sign Wilfried Zaha for the price they want after Everton’s big spend.

Every now and then a transfer happens which skews the rest of the transfer market.
Everton’s £50 million move for winger Richarlison is one which has the potential to do just that.
For Premier League clubs looking to sign a winger it will inflate the market, as Tottenham may be about to find out with regard to Wilfried Zaha.
Richarlison’s hefty transfer fee makes it less likely that Palace will change their stance, and could even increase it.

Richarlison has just one season under his belt in the Premier League, in which he only played well for half of it.
Zaha is far more proven, having just played his fourth consecutive year in the top flight for Palace.
He has 16 goals across the last two seasons combined, last season scoring nine to Richarlison’s five.
It would be illogical for Palace to sell Zaha for less than Zaha now, and it looks harder than ever for Tottenham to get a deal done.
