Speaking on BBC Radio Leeds, Angus Kinnear has named three Leeds U23 players who he thinks could break into Marcelo Bielsa’s first-team next season.
The Whites’ U23 outfit have been outstanding this term, winning 10 of their last 11 games, so it’s no surprise that there may be a few first-team candidates in that squad.
The Yorkshire club’s CEO has tipped Joe Gelhardt, Sam Greenwood and Cody Drameh to have an impact in the first-team next season.
“Similarly, we want to sign players who’ve got a great development future as well,” Kinnear said.
“I think you can see that with what’s happened in the U23s with Gelhardt, Greenwood and Drameh, who I think are all players who have the potential to have an impact in the first-team next season.”

This is certainly very interesting to hear.
People within Leeds clearly rate these three, so it may not be long until they make a first-team debut.
Gelhardt has already been on the bench in the Premier League, while Greenwood and Drameh continue to earn plaudits for their performances for the youth teams.
Kinnear clearly rates them, but whether or not Marcelo Bielsa agrees with his point of view is what matters when it comes to them getting chances in the senior squad.
Drameh, Gelhardt and Greenwood are certainly three youngsters to keep an eye on in the coming months.
