Joselu is linked with Newcastle United, but have Stoke just signed his replacement?
According to Sky Sports, Stoke City are set to sign Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.
If true, his arrival might well spell the end of Newcastle United target Joselu’s career under Mark Hughes with the Potters.
They are both forwards and there is a chance that Stoke have brought him in with the knowledge that their £5.25 million man won’t be around much longer.

Stoke are already said to have rejected one “derisory” bid for the Spaniard but, according to The Shields Gazzette, Newcastle will go in with an improved offer.
The Magpies are short on quality forward options and Joselu – who has four goals for City in pre season – could be a decent signing by manager Rafael Benitez.
The 27-year-old, who joined Stoke two years ago, spent last season on loan with Deportivo La Coruna, where he managed five goals in nine Primera Division starts.
But Benitez is a very decent man manager and, given they are both Spanish, the former Real Madrid coach might be able to get something out of him which Hughes couldn’t.
