Tottenham are reportedly keen on an English goalkeeper.

After releasing Michel Vorm, Tottenham Hotspur are one senior goalkeeper short.
The Evening Standard reported last month that Tottenham are likely to look for an English goalkeeper to compete with Hugo Lloris and Paulo Gazzaniga.
Now Southampton might have provided them with a solution.
Sky Sports report the Saints have put one-time England international Alex McCarthy up for sale.
The Mirror reported last summer that Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino was keen on a move for McCarthy.
Southampton were unwilling to sell, but now he has fallen behind Angus Gunn in the pecking order.

The Saints’ changed stances gives Tottenham license tor revisit their interest, although Sky Sports claim Liverpool and Aston Villa are also interested.
The price will be the sticking point. Spurs will only commit so much for a player who could be second or third choice, but McCarthy would fit the bill in terms of the type of quality, experience and player they are looking for.
