Celtic’s dominance at the top of Scottish football is made all the better by the fact their side includes youth team graduate Kieran Tierney.
Tierney is a regular at left-back for Celtic and his starring role has attracted interest from several Premier League sides.
Now rivals Rangers might have found their own version of the Isle of Man born star – hailing from another island.
Malta born Myles Beerman has started the Gers last two fixtures, helping his side keep clean sheets against both Kilmarnock and Aberdeen.
At just 17-years-old Beerman has adapted quickly to first team football, and looks like a ready made star for Pedro Caixinha.

The left-back has a chance to stake a real claim for a regular spot in the side, and become Rangers’ own talisman, and example to the rest of their academy stars.
His big test will come if he is selected against Celtic in the Scottish Cup in two weeks.
Rangers have one more game in between against Partick Thistle where he can stake a claim for the semi-final clash.
The match with Celtic could make or break Beerman this early, but the youngster seems very level headed so far, and has been unfazed by the challenges put in front of him.
It is this type of cool head which has allowed Tierney to succeed at Celtic, and if Beerman can come through the Old Firm clash with his reputation in tact, even enhanced, the sky will be the limit for the talented teen.
Now, if only Rangers could find their own Moussa Dembele…
