Newcastle United’s hopes of signing Moses Simon are hanging by a thread after Liverpool reportedly prepared to make a move last night.

Belgian outlet HLN reported two months ago that Newcastle had sent scouts to watch him in action.

Now he is being lined up for a surprise move to Liverpool, for a fee Newcastle would be able to afford.
