Could Kevin Mirallas and Morgan Schneiderlin have played their last match for Everton after a training ground bust-up with Duncan Ferguson.
Morgan Schneiderlin of Everton comes on as a second half substitute for Kevin Mirallas during the Premier League match against Manchester City.
Neither Kevin Mirallas or Morgan Schneiderlin were included in Everton’s matchday squad for the Premier League clash with Watford following a training ground bust-up, it has emerged.
Everton’s first team coach Duncan Ferguson looks on before the English League Cup fourth round football match against Chelsea.
Ferguson was unhappy with the amount of effort Mirallas and Schneiderlin were putting in and after telling them to improve or stop training, they chose to head back to the dressing room.
As a result caretaker manager David Unsworth decided not to name either player for the weekend’s game and now it remains to be seen what the future holds for them.

Mirallas has started just five matches in all competitions this season and after a deadline day move to former club Olympiakos failed to materialise the 30-year-old went public with his disappointment, quoted by Sky Sports: “I really wanted to come to Olympiakos.
“We tried our best to find a deal that would suit everyone, including President Vangelis Marinakis, who did everything possible and beyond – but Everton turned a deaf ear.”
Schneiderlin, meanwhile, has been used more extensively in 2017/18 but in general has been poor and was sent off in his last outing for the Merseysiders as they were beaten 3-0 by Lyon in the Europa League.
If Unsworth is given the job permanently then perhaps neither player will take to the pitch for the club again, but even if it is not the 44-year-old his and Ferguson’s assessment of the duo will surely not be a glowing one when the new boss takes over.
