Liverpool spent big to bring the midfielder to Anfield in the summer.

Liverpool signed Naby Keita from RB Leipzig in the summer, for a fee believed to be worth around £52.75 million, according to the Independent, but he has really struggled to establish himself at Anfield thus far.
The 23-year-old has made 23 appearances in all competitions for the Reds this season, and has failed to register a single goal, chalking up just one assist in the process.
So the question has to be asked, has Keita been the biggest flop out of all the summer signings in the Premier League?
The simple answer to that question is yes, as harsh as that may sound.
Much was expected of the 33-capped Guinea international when he joined Liverpool, after a fine 2017/18 campaign in the Bundesliga with Leipzig, where he chalked up nine goals and seven assists in 39 appearances.
He has looked way off the pace in the Premier League, however, and is seemingly struggling with the fact that he doesn’t have time to breath in the middle of the park.
There is, of course, the counter argument that Keita needs time, but as things stand, things aren’t looking good for the 23-year-old.

Jürgen Klopp will undoubtedly be patient with Keita, but nobody could blame him for being incredibly concerned with the midfielder’s form this season.
Only time will tell whether the Guinean has what it takes to succeed with Liverpool in the Premier League, but one thing is clear, he needs to drastically improve in every aspect of his game if he is to one day live up to his hefty price-tag.
