Wolverhampton Wanderers reportedly want to bring Daniel Podence to the Premier League – and Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City could help them.

If Wolverhampton Wanderers get their way, another of Jorge Mendes’ clients could be on his way to Molineux this summer.
FosOnline reports that Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are looking to bring OIympiakos forward Daniel Podence to the Black Country in the next few months.
Wolves wanted to sign the 23-year-old before he moved to Greece from Sporting Lisbon a year ago and, after the skilful forward netted eight goals in his debut season in Piraeus, it appears that he is back on their radar.
And Wolves’ pursuit could have been given a boost by an unlikely source – Premier League rivals Leicester City.
Because, according to SDNA, The Foxes have offered Olympiakos the chance to sign their forgotten man Fousseni Diabate.

A speedy and versatile forward, the 23-year-old Malian shares plenty of similarities with Podence – meaning he could be the ideal replacement if the Super League runners-up are tempted to make a big profit on a player they signed for free in 2018.
According to The Mirror, Wolves are set to offload wingers Helder Costa, Ivan Cavaleiro and Adama Traore this summer. So there should be plenty of room at Molineux for Podence.
