The Leeds United manager is starting to feel the pressure after a run of defeats.

Under the stewardship of former owner Massimo Cellino, Leeds United fans got used to managers arriving and departing with alarming regularity, but things look to be different under Andrea Radrizzani.
The problem for the new Leeds supremo is that the pressure is mounting on current boss Thomas Christiansen, with the Whites losing six of their last eight league games and, if things do not pick up quickly, questions will be asked about the man picking the side.

Leeds supporters will no doubt be hoping that Christiansen can get the club winning again, with the prospect of yet another managerial change prompting more dismay than delight. And yet there could be a key reason why Radrizzani opts to stick with his current manager for quite some time to come.
Leeds have invested too much to simply throw in the towel when it comes to their latest managerial appointment.
They took their time bringing in a successor to Garry Monk, making sure they got the right man for the job, and then financed a squad overhaul that saw practically an entire new starting XI arrive.

If Leeds part company with Christiansen it will not change the players at their disposal, and there is no guarantee a new boss will be happy with the men brought in by director of football Victor Orta during the last transfer window.
The problem with putting such faith in a new setup is that when it goes wrong, you have to ride out the storm or rip up the plan and start again.
Radrizzani will have the final say, but one wonders if the days of a managerial merry-go-round are long gone at Elland Road.
