Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers were said to be considering placing Tony Pulis in charge.

Glasgow Rangers may have missed their chance to appoint Tony Pulis, following Paul Clement’s sacking at Swansea City.
Pulis had been a free agent, since his release from West Bromwich Albion earlier this month.

However, Rangers’ chances of landing Pulis now seem to have been reduced, as Swansea are looking for a new manager.
Pulis is currently the odds-on favourite to land the job at the Liberty Stadium, with the bookies feeling that the 59-year-old is set to take over from Clement.

The job at Swansea may be more appealing to Pulis than taking over at Rangers, as the Premier League is a division that he knows well.
And Rangers’ failure to act sooner, may have cost them the opportunity to put Pulis in charge at Ibrox.
