Derby County are said to be interested in signing Che Adams from Birmingham City.
Birmingham City’s signing of Isaac Vassell from Luton Town today, could be good news for Derby County, as they attempt to sign Che Adams.
HITC have reported Derby’s interest in Adams, but so far their bids have been rejected.
Adams has been in fine form so far this season, and Birmingham are known to want to keep hold of the forward.

However, the Blues signing of Vassell means that they now have cover for Adams, if he was to leave.
Vassell possesses a similar skill set to Adams, with the two strikers boasting great pace and finishing ability.
And Vassell may have been brought to Birmingham as a contingency plan, in case Adams does leave.
Derby boss Gary Rowett wants a new forward to add a threat to his front line at Pride Park.
Derby have started the season disappointingly, and have picked up just one point from their first two matches.
But they may feel more optimistic about their chances of signing Adams, after watching another striker arrive at St. Andrews today.
