Rangers were crowned champions of Scotland on Sunday, and in his own typical way, Roy Keane didn’t provide them with a word of celebration.

As the news broke that Rangers had become champions, Keane reacted on Sky Sports.

Given that he wasn’t willing to have a positive word to say about Steven Gerrard’s side. ex-defender Alan Hutton wrote on Sky Sports’ Instagram page for fellow pundit Micah Richards to ‘have a word’ with the ex-Celtic man.

Former Man City defender Richards, Keane himself and Rangers legend Graeme Souness were sat in the Sky studios as Celtic recorded a goalless draw against Dundee United which crowned the Gers champions.

As expected, Souness was ‘delighted’ by the news as Liverpool legend Gerrard wrote his name in the history books up in Glasgow.

Whilst Celtic will be dwelling on what has been a pretty abject season, both on and off the field, Keane thinks they will ‘bounce back’.

That has to start with the right individual walking through the doors in summer to take over the reins of Neil Lennon.

But as Rangers have tasted the Premiership title for the first time in a decade, Gerrard will be pretty keen to add more to their cabinet and try to dominate during these coming years.
