Nordtveit, who can play as defensive midfielder or as a defender, joined the London club in the summer transfer window.
The 26-year-old arrived at the London Stadium as a free transfer following his departure from Borussia Monchengladbach at the end of the 2015-16 campaign.
The Norway international was expected to be a massive hit for the Hammers, but so far this season, he has struggled to make an impact.

Nordtveit may not be playing well at the moment, but there can be no denial that he is a very talented footballer.
