Havard Nordtveit has struggled during his first season at West Ham United.

According to a report on Football.London, Sam Byram will be out of West Ham United’s match against Sunderland this weekend.
Byram was in excellent form against Swansea City in West Ham’s last match.
The former Leeds United man arguably put in his best display since moving to the London Stadium to help his side pick a 1-0 win over Paul Clement’s side.
However, after seemingly confirming his place in West Ham’s first-team, Byram has been struck with an injury problem.
The right-back was seen leaving West Ham’s home ground on crutches, after helping Slaven Bilic’s men pick up the three points against Swansea.
And it seems that Byram has been unable to recover in time to face Sunderland.
West Ham’s options at right-back are now limited, and one man who could get the nod to play against Sunderland is Havard Nordtveit.
Nordtveit has fallen out of favour at the Hammers, after enduring a difficult first season at the London club.
The Norwegian international appears to be heading towards the exit door at the London Stadium this summer.
However, Byram’s injury may just provide him with one final chance to prove that he still has a role to play at West Ham.
