Should Leeds United make a move for Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Kortney Hause in the January transfer window?
The 22-year-old central defender has made just one appearance in the Championship so far this season, and that too as a substitute for only seven minutes.
“It’s been quite hard and frustrating for me,” Hause told Express & Star. ”The team’s doing well and I’m happy for the club and my team mates but like every player you want to play week in, week out.”
Hause is a very good and promising young central defender, and it must be hard for him not to be able to play regular competitive football.
The former England Under-21 international has been on the books of Wolves since January 2014 when he signed from Wycombe Wanderers and when Kenny Jackett was in charge of Molineux Stadium outfit.
Perhaps Leeds United should take a look at Hause and make a loan move for the Wolves defender in the January transfer window.
The Whites are looking good defensively at the moment and have recently signed 19-year-old centre-back Aapo Halme, but he is one for the future and the West Yorkshire outfit could do with another player for that position to enhance their chances of a top-six finish in the Championship this season.
Hause is hungry for playing time, and if given the chance at Leeds, the 22-year-old would surely make the most of it.
What is also very encouraging about the youngster is that he has experience of playing rigorous and competitive first-team football for Wycombe, Wolves and Gillingham (on loan).
It would not be a bad idea of Leeds to sign Hause on loan from Wolves until the end of the season.
