Glasgow Rangers loanee Lassana Coulibaly risks becoming a scapegoat for poor form.

Glasgow Rangers midfielder Lassana Coulibaly was a notable name on the bench this weekend.
Coulibaly was hauled off in midweek in Rangers’ disappointing 1-1 home draw with Kilmarnock.
The Rangers loanee had also started in the League Cup semi-final defeat to Aberdeen days earlier.
It was little surprise to see Steven Gerrard wield the axe, with Coulibaly below form for the Gers.
He started the season well after signing from Angers, but he has not looked like the same player since an early season injury.

Coulibaly was disappointing in the semi-final and against Kilmarnock and the snub against St Mirren was entirely predictable.
He did not even make it off the bench, with Scott Arfield, Ryan Jack and Ovie Ejaria chosen as Gerrard’s preferred trio.
Rangers secured a much needed 2-0 away win and it is going to be tough for Coulibaly now to break back into the team.
A spell on the sidelines beckons, and it may not be a bad thing for the 22-year-old.
