Hatem Abd Elhamed joined Celtic in the summer transfer window.

Elhamed joined Celtic from Hapoel Be’er Sheva in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by The Scottish Sun to be worth £1.6 million.
The 28-year-old defender has hit the ground running at the Hoops and did well against Rangers at Ibrox in the recent Old Firm derby.
The Israel international believes that he has done well for the Bhoys, and he has suggested that the Celtic Park faithful have been surprised by him.
Elhamed told The Scottish Sun: “The fans have been great. I’m not sure if they expected a player coming from the Israeli League to be physical. I have connected really well with them.”
Good signing for Celtic
Elhamed has proved to be a good signing for Celtic so far, and him playing so well for the Hoops at the moment is very encouraging for the Celtic Park faithful.
Defence is the one area the the Hoops needed to become better this campaign, and the Glasgow giants do look strong at the back at the moment.
Neil Lennon’s side will return to action on Saturday when they take on Hamilton Academical in the Scottish Premiership.
