Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to react after a 5-second clip of Ledley King circulated around social media last night.

The footage in question shows the 40-year-old Spurs coach looking devastated on the bench as Dinamo Zagreb celebrated their incredible 3-0 win.

It was a heartbreaking video, in which you could see just how much the club means to King.

He looks simply distraught, before letting his head drop with disappointment.

You can understand his reaction. King was a one-club man, who made 318 appearances for Tottenham throughout his career.

He is now part of Jose Mourinho’s backroom staff, but his reaction was still that of a gutted supporter sat at home watching from their sofa.

Unless Tottenham can beat Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final, their chances of winning a trophy this season are over.

Spurs were knocked out of the FA Cup by Everton, and despite being mentioned as title challengers early in the season, their Premier League form also tailed off.

It is simply unacceptable to throw away a 2-0 lead from the first leg – there are no excuses for Tottenham’s exit from the Europa League.

To make matters worse, winning that competition may have been the club’s only chance of making the Champions League next season.

Currently, Tottenham are outsiders to reach the top four, as they sit six points off Chelsea.

Let’s see what the Tottenham fans on Twitter have been saying about the 5-second footage of King…
