Some West Ham fans on social media are seriously concerned after seeing Jesse Lingard come off against Newcastle with an injury.
Lingard has undoubtedly been one of the Hammers’ most important players since joining the club in January, but he limped off against Newcastle on Saturday after netting his ninth goal of the season.
As you can imagine, West Ham fans were rather concerned to see their star player come off with an injury.
We don’t know the extent of Lingard’s injury as of yet, but it will be something of a disaster for the London club if he’s out of action for any period of time.
Even if he’s out for a week it will represent a blow for United as they will need to be at their best to get anything from Chelsea.
Fingers crossed Lingard will be back fit and firing sooner rather than later.
