Former Leeds United striker may find it tough to refuse the role.

It emerged over the weekend that former Dutch striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is being considered by Leeds United for the vacant head coach role.
The Mirror report Leeds are weighing up offering the job to Hasselbaink, who is out of work after being dismissed by Queens Park Rangers last season.
That was the first setback Hasselbaink’s promising managerial career had suffered, after an impressive stint with Royal Antwerp in Belgium and Burton Albion in England, who he guided to one promotion and set them up for another before leaving for QPR.

Hasselbaink played for Leeds for one season in the late 90s before being sold to Chelsea, and left a big impression.
He has already admitted once that he would be keen on becoming Leeds manager, and it is hard to believe he would resist the opportunity.
He told TalkSPORT in 2014: “Leeds United is a wonderful big club where I had two great years. If they want to talk to me, of course I would talk.

“I’ve got experience, I know I could take the club forward and I know I can take the club back to where they need to go.
“If they want to talk to me, of course I would be interested. Who doesn’t want to manage Leeds United? It’s one of the ten biggest jobs in the country.”
Hasselbaink has a point to prove now after his underwhelming spell at QPR and while this could count against him, it could also be to his benefit.
He will have learned a lot about managing in the Championship and Leeds can hope he has got his mistakes out of the way.
His managerial career showed great promise beforehand and Leeds could be the right environment for him to thrive, with signs of a stable boardroom team finally being put in place.
