Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has “gone up a level” this season, according to Simon Collings.
The Evening Standard journalist also reckons the Gunners ace’s progress “probably hasn’t got the headlines” other players have received.
Ramsdale has been superb for Arsenal since joining for a reported £30million back in 2021.

He quickly dethroned Bernd Leno as the Gunners’ number one and has held that position since.
Ramsdale has been a key member of Arsenal’s title challenge this term, and is a favourite among fans and in the dressing room.
The 24-year-old has made the odd mistake in the past – something every goalkeeper will have made at some point.
Collings, speaking to GiveMeSport, believes Ramsdale has cut some of those errors out and overall improved his game.
“I think he’s sort of quietly gone about his work and cut out some errors that used to be in his game,” he said.
“This season, I feel like he’s found a level of consistency that’s gone up a level and he’s a key part of that squad.
“As much as what he does on the pitch is huge, his personality in that dressing room and the way he sort of gets on with everyone has a big impact.
“So I think he’s someone who’s been quietly impressive and probably hasn’t got the headlines that other players in the team have.”

Shrewd signing
Ramsdale joined Arsenal to a mixed reception – to say the least – back in 2021.
However, it didn’t take him long to silence those doubters and prove he’s worthy of wearing the Gunners gloves.
Sure, he has made the odd mistake. But you’ll struggle to find a top goalkeeper who hasn’t made any in their time.
What matters is Ramsdale is an outstanding option for Arsenal and has proven a very shrewd signing.
Better still, he is getting better and has plenty of years ahead of him.
If all goes well, Ramsdale really has the potential to be the next David Seaman in terms of club legend status.
