Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are said to want James Tavernier from West Bromwich Albion.

Dowling was not giving too much away about West Brom’s targets, but he did suggest that anybody brought in during the January window would have to suit Darren Moore’s style.
And Rangers man Tavernier certainly fitted the description given by Dowling.
“Darren’s now got a system – it took him two or three games to find it and as we speak, it’s working,” Dowling told the Express & Star.
“We’re looking to recruit players that can fit in that system and players, like ones we have got, who are good enough to switch.
“The back three can play a back four, the midfielders can play in a two.
“We want players that are adaptable and can play in many systems, but ultimately this is a system we enjoy.”

The Rangers man has the ability to play as a right-back in a four, or as a wing-back, as he has done on occasion for Gerrard’s side this season.
Tavernier’s familiarity with the 3-5-2 system could be crucial for the Bagggies, if he was to move to the Hawthorns.
West Brom’s current backline has struggled to get to grips with Moore’s favoured style of play, and that has left them vulnerable in defence at times.
