Leeds are set to welcome back Luke Ayling against QPR on Sunday.

Victor Orta has been heavily criticised for his work in the transfer window this season at Leeds United, after joining the club as director of football under owner Andres Radrizzani.
But many Leeds fans were buoyed by the signing of Vurnon Anita on a free transfer from Newcastle United last summer, after the Holland international had just gained promotion from the Championship to the Premier League with the Toon.
Signed for nothing, Anita’s versatility and experience in the Premier League got Leeds fans particularly excited that the Whites had pulled off somewhat of a coup to land a player with Anita’s calibre at Elland Road.

However, with just one game left to play this season, the 29-year-old has surely played his last game for the Whites after a dismal season that has seen the pocket-sized utility man struggle to offer any kind of quality.
Anita has been used at right-back most prominently, also featuring on the left side of defence and in midfield. But he has been so poor, that even centre-back Matthew Pennington has been used at right-back over him in recent matches.
Now, with the return of Luke Ayling ahead of Sunday’s clash against QPR in what is the final game of the season, surely Anita has played his last game for the Whites?

At right-back, Leeds have Gaetano Berardi, Ayling and Lewie Coyle to come back from a loan with Fleetwood Town. At left-back, Berardi has also been used while Laurens De Bock is also in contention, as well as youngster Tom Pearce.
Leeds are also well-stocked in midfield and it is clear that there is simply no place in the side for Anita, especially after failing to impress so dramatically.
Despite having a contract at Leeds until 2020, surely the former Ajax star has played his last game for the Whites.
