Tottenham star was substituted at half-time against Ajax.

Victor Wanyama could have played his final game for Tottenham.
The Kenyan was substituted at half-time against Ajax last night. It was partly a tactical switch, and at the same time, designed to put Wanyama out of his misery.
Over the two legs against Ajax, Wanyama has been ruthless exposed as not being good enough for the level Tottenham require.
Spurs have little need for Wanyama this weekend against Everton, and would be better off handing youngster Oliver Skipp another opportunity.
This summer Spurs should look to move Wanyama on and upgrade in midfield.

The Daily Mail reported last month that Wanyama is one of the players Spurs are open to receiving offers for.
He has had a big opportunity over both legs against Ajax to reverse Tottenham’s stance. Instead he has only reinforced it.
Wanyama was only playing due to an injury to Harry Winks, and Tottenham’s failure to replace Mousa Dembele in January.
There is every chance that last night was Wanyama’s final game in a Spurs shirt, even with the final on the horizon, especially with him seen to be visibly limping at the final whistle.
