Alfredo Morelos has not scored in three games for Rangers since an £8m bid from Beijing Rehne was rejected.

Beijing Rehne are no longer interested in signing Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos, according to the Express, after having an £8m bid rejected during the January transfer window.
The deadline in China isn’t until February 28 so they could still make an approach for Morelos, but apparently they have already moved on to other targets.

The 21-year-old, who is the current Scottish Premiership top-scorer this season with 11 goals, was believed to be disappointed with the deal failing to go through because the Colombian would have been set for a significant pay rise.
According to the Daily Record, Morelos is one of Gers’ lowest earners at the moment with weekly wages of around £7,000, but talks are set to take place shortly to improve those terms.
However, has all his speculation about his future affected the South American – with the forward having failed to score in his last three matches since reports emerged of the interest from the Chinese Super League?

Morelos was left on the bench for the 3-0 Scottish FA Cup victory over Fraserburgh on deadline day having originally been expected to take part, while in the league the usually prolific youngster – who had five goals in his previous seven appearances – has failed to net once in three outings.
Manager Graeme Murty admitted at the time it was a “difficult circumstance”, as quoted by Sky Sports, and it is certainly proving to be so at the moment.
