Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane hasn’t played since April.

Kieran Trippier has intimated that Tottenham Hotspur hitman Harry Kane will be fit for this weekend’s Champions League final with Liverpool.

The 25-year-old hitman hasn’t kicked a ball for Tottenham since the 1-0 win over Manchester City in the quarter-final phase on April 9.

It remains to be seen whether Spurs’ talisman will be available for Saturday’s clash in Madrid.

But Trippier, speaking about injuries, revealed to Goal.com that ‘everybody is fit’ for the first time this season – an indication that Kane is indeed ready.

“It has been strange, because if you look at the whole season we have always had a few injuries. Now everybody is back, everybody is fit, it is going to be interesting, whoever is selected.”

Former Lilywhites hitman Gary Lineker called on manager Mauricio Pochettino to start him in Madrid if he is fit.

And what a colossal boost it would be if he can make the first XI. Lucas Moura, who scored a second-half hat-trick which sealed Tottenham’s progression against Ajax in the semi-finals.

But Kane is one of the world’s most lethal marksmen and it goes without saying that the Londoners’ chances of winning go right up if he is available.
