Tottenham Hotspur star has a prolific record against Arsenal, and could eventually out do Chelsea legend Didier Drogba’s figures against them.

Harry Kane continued his excellent record in North London derbies at the weekend as he struck a vital equaliser for Tottenham against Arsenal.

His penalty secured a 1-1 draw at The Emirates, and kept Tottenham within three points of the Gunners, rather than have the gap extend to six.

Kane was not fully fit, having returned from injury for the fixture, but his presence in the starting line-up alone gave inspiration to Tottenham, and gave Arsenal concern.

Kane now has five goals in five matches against Arsenal, a tremendous record demonstrating his aptitude for scoring in the big games.

Only against Leicester City has he scored more, six times in eight matches.

As if they were not already, Arsenal fans are sick of the sight of Kane scoring against them, and know full well there is more to come.

With Kane set to come up against them twice a season, potentially for the next decade, there could be plenty more North London derby goals for the 23-year-old.

He is developing into Arsenal’s nemesis, a role occupied previously by Didier Drogba, and temporarily resumed by Chelsea’s pantomime villain Diego Costa.

Drogba had a prolific record against Arsenal, scoring 13 goals in 15 games against the Gunners.

When he left Chelsea, Arsenal were glad to see the back of him, but in Tottenham’s talisman Kane, there is another foe who has come to the fore, who has an uncanny record of finding a way to score past them time and time again.
