The Tottenham Hotspur winger produced a superb display during yesterday’s friendly against Roma.

Lucas Moura joined Tottenham from Paris Saint-Germain in January, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £23 million, according to BBC Sport, but the Brazilian failed to nail down a regular place in Mauricio Pochettino’s starting XI.
The 25-year-old’s future in north London has already been brought into question, with Pochettino rumoured to be on the look-out for a new winger.
Sport Bild reported earlier this month that Spurs were tracking Eintracht Frankfurt star Ante Rebic, whilst the London Evening Standard claimed that Poch is keen to bring Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha to north London.
If Tottenham do bring in another winger, Lucas Moura could see his game-time at White Hart Lane limited even further still.
The Brazilian star’s showing against Roma last night, though, might just force Pochettino into a rethink.
Lucas played 82 minutes for Spurs during their 4-1 win against Roma last night, scoring twice, and he was a constant menace throughout the duration of the game.

He proved how much of an impact he could have for Tottenham this season, and his display might just make Pochettino think that he doesn’t actually need to sign another winger this summer.
A case can obviously be made for Spurs’ need to strengthen the depth of their squad, but the Brazilian’s display last night will have at the very least brought him to the forefront of Poch’s mind heading into the new season.
