Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele is the only addition that Mauricio Pochettino’s side have made who can impact on their first-team this term.

Pochettino has seemingly been putting pressure on Spurs to get transfers over the line this summer, with Tottenham frustrating with their inactivity once again.
Tanguy Ndombele and Jack Clarke were brought to Spurs early on in the summer, but since then they have failed to get another deal over the line.
And Pochettino has suggested that Ndombele’s settling in period at Tottenham would have been helped if more new faces had joined with him.
Pochettino said: “For him it’s difficult. We cannot expect too much. We need to accept he needs time to adapt to first a new culture, a new country, new habits. Of course it’s only him who arrived to the club and that makes it more difficult. When a few are new they can help each other but it’s only him.
“We need to give him time but I am happy in the way he is adapting. He is open to improve and learn but needs time to see the best version of him.”

Pochettino’s comments serve as yet another indicator that he wanted more signings at Tottenham this summer.
Spurs are still expected to be active between now and the end of the transfer window, as they look to strengthen their squad.
Tottenham have their eyes of Giovani Lo Celso and Ryan Sessegnon (Independent), and if they can get the pair then their squad will look much stronger for the new campaign.
Spurs get their season underway with a match against Aston Villa next weekend.
