Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly narrowed his shortlist down to just two players.

There were initial hopes that Spurs would be very active this summer, to ensure that the feeling of positivity was retained, ahead of their move to their new home.
However, Tottenham are yet to complete a transfer, and Pochettino now reportedly only wants Grealish and Zaha.
The Mail claims that both Grealish and Zaha could join Spurs in the near future, and then Pochettino’s transfer business would be finished.

The additions of Grealish and Zaha look exciting for Spurs, but it is tough not to feel that Pochettino’s squad could be left short with only those two added.
Tottenham midfielders Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama have both been linked with exits, while Moussa Sissoko’s future is not entirely secure.
If the trio were to exit then Spurs’ midfield options would be significant reduced, but there appears to be no plans to bring in a central midfield player.

While that transfer plan does prove that Pochettino has great faith in Harry Winks, it could leave Spurs seriously short of options.
There are question marks over Winks’ fitness, and if Spurs do lose the youngster to injury, then Pochettino may be left to regret his apparent decision not to bring in a central midfielder as the season progresses.
