Aston Villa won against Norwich City in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

Aston Villa continued their good run of form on Saturday afternoon. The Villans got the better of Norwich City 2-0 at home in the Championship.

Jonathan Kodjia put Villa in the lead at Villa Park in the 25th minute, and the 27-year-old forward doubled the advantage in the 87th minute.

Norwich ended the game with 10 men due to the sending-off of Ivo Pinto in the 80th minute.

The win against Norwich means that Villa are now 11th in the Championship table at the moment.

Steve Bruce’s side are on 54 points from 39 matches, as many as 10 points behind sixth-placed Fulham.

There is still a considerable gap between Villa and the playoffs, but could the former Premier League outfit make a late rally and force their way into the top six?
