Some Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Kostas Tsimikas last night and have urged Jurgen Klopp to start him against Arsenal this coming weekend.
What’s the story?
Liverpool left-back Tsimikas was in action for Greece against Kosovo in the 2022 World Cup qualifier last night.
The match finished in a 1-1 draw.
Tsimikas started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes.
The 25-year-old is a left-back by trade, but against Kosovo, he was deployed further upfront in a 3-5-2 formation.
The Liverpool squad player had a very good game.
Tsimikas took two shots and one was on target, and gave as many as seven key passes.
The defender also had a pass accuracy of 83%, took 83 touches, attempted two dribbles, made one tackle, one interception and one clearance, and put in 14 crosses.
