Newcastle United host Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.

Several Newcastle United supporters want Freddie Woodman to replace Rob Elliot in goal against Brighton & Hove Albion this weekend.
Elliot recently regained his place from Karl Darlow, but will miss the Seagulls’ visit through injury.
But after a string of unconvincing displays by Darlow, some feel it is time for Woodman to be given his chance by Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez.

Though highly rated, Woodman is still awaiting his senior debut for the Magpies, whom he joined from Crystal Palace’s academy.
However, the 20-year-old impressed in spells at Crawley Town and Kilmarnock, and has two caps for England at Under-21 level.
But should Woodman get his chance against Brighton? The following Newcastle United fans think so…
Ironically, one player who may have been in line to replace Elliot could feature for Brighton instead.
Tim Krul was Newcastle’s longest serving player at the time of his loan to Chris Hughton’s side, which has since been made permanent.
Krul is still awaiting his league debut for the Seagulls, however.
