Jose Enrique has written on Twitter that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool should demand £20 million for Nathaniel Phillips, not £15 million.

Phillips spent the second half of this past season on loan at Bournemouth from Liverpool.

The 25-year-old central defender played a big role in the Cherries’ promotion to the Premier League.

Phillips made 17 appearances in the Championship for Bournemouth.

There is speculation that Bournemouth want to sign Phillips on a permanent contact this summer, and that Liverpool want £15 million as transfer fee.

Former Liverpool star Enrique believes that the Reds should demand £20 million for Phillips, not £15m.

Nathaniel Phillips should leave Liverpool

In our view, Nathaniel Phillips should leave Liverpool in the summer transfer window.

And, in our opinion, a permanent move to Bournemouth would be great for Phillips.

After all, the defender spent the past few months at the Cherries and established himself as an important player.

Phillips has played in the Premier League and the Champions League with Liverpool, and his experience would come handy for Bournemouth.

Liverpool are well stocked in central defence, and Phillips is unlikely to get much playing time at Anfield.

A move away from Liverpool would be best for both parties.
