‘Has to be Kane’s’: Some Manchester City fans think they’ve spotted clue about Spurs player

Manchester City have one big-money signing in the bag, but bringing Harry Kane in from Tottenham Hotspur also remains on the agenda.

Last week, the Sky Blues sealed a British-record £100 million deal to sign Jack Grealish from Aston Villa.

Kane failed to attend Tottenham’s pre-season training last week, sparking further speculation that he is still determined to join Pep Guardiola’s side.

Journalist Sam Lee claimed this week that there’d been a breakthrough in City’s negotiations with Spurs about signing the 28-year-old hitman, who won the Premier League’s Golden Boot last season.

And interestingly, some fans of the Premier League club believe that their club are certainly preparing for Kane’s arrival.

There’s a gap in the dressing room between Grealish and Bernard Mendy’s seat, with no name allocated to that place just yet.

According to Sky Sports, Kane is available for Tottenham’s Premier League opener on Sunday.

And it just so happens that it is against the Sky Blues.

This is a massive distraction for Spurs and simply put, it isn’t ideal at all.

And if Nuno Espirito Santo and Fabio Paratici believe it serves the team better if Kane leaves, the trigger has to be pulled.

The sooner he’s gone, the sooner that the Lilywhites can begin rebuilding because, at the moment, everything’s in limbo.
