Nottingham Forest are thought to be interested in signing Tiago Silva from Feirense.

Reported Nottingham Forest target Tiago Silva may just have hinted that he is about to move to the City Ground, as he has followed the club on Instagram.

The Nottingham Post have reported how Forest want to sign Silva, who could play in midfield for them next season.

And it seems that Sabri Lamouchi is closing in on his first signing, after the 26-year-old started following Forest on Instagram.

Silva will join Forest from Feirense in Portugal, and details of the potential transfer have been sparse.

It is not yet known whether Forest have agreed a permanent fee or just to take the 26-year-old on loan.

The transfer immediately shows a shift in focus after Martin O’Neill’s departure, with Forest going back to targeting players from abroad rather than hardened Championship stars.

Silva is expected to add to Forest’s creative options for next term, and could have a key role to play at the City Ground.
