Wigan Athletic striker Will Grigg is reportedly on the radar of Sunderland.

Sunderland owner Stewart Donald has suggested on Twitter that his club are interested in signing Will Grigg from Wigan Athletic in the January transfer window.
According to The Daily Mail, Sunderland have made an offer of £250,000 to Wigan for Grigg.
Donald has made a couple of posts on Twitter regarding the striker which suggest that the Black Cats want to secure the services of the Northern Ireland international striker.

Promotion-clinching signing
Grigg may not be a huge success in the Championship for Wigan, but the 27-year-old has a stunning record in League One.
According to Transfermarkt.co.uk, the striker scored 19 goals and provided four assists in 43 League One appearances for Wigan during the 2017-18 season.
Back in 2015-16, Grigg scored 25 goals and provided six assists in 40 League One matches for the Latics, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
With Sunderland aiming to finish in the top two of the League One table this season, Grigg could be the signing that guarantees the Black Cats a place in the Championship next season.
