Everton have decided to loan out Kevin Mirallas to Olympiacos.

Allardyce stated that he would recommend that Everton should only consider permanent sales this month.
Allardyce wanted Everton to sell players, to allow him to re-invest the money.
He said: “If anyone is going to leave it’ll be for a fee that we can reuse.”

However, just a few days after these comments, Kevin Mirallas has been allowed to leave Everton on a temporary deal to join Olympiacos.
Whether Allardyce had a change of heart simply because it was Mirallas is unclear.

Mirallas has fallen completely out of favour at Everton, and not featured in the Premier League since Allardyce took over.
The Belgian winger’s attitude has been called into question, and Everton fans wanted him offloaded this month.
If Mirallas does impress as Olympiacos it seems unlikely that he will be able to recover his Everton career, with a permanent move elsewhere very likely in the summer transfer window.
