Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers defender James Tavernier is reportedly on the radar of Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion.
James Tavernier of Rangers
Rangers star James Tavernier is one of the best right-backs in the Scottish Premiership, and there is no surprise that Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albin are reportedly interested in the Ibrox star.
According to The Daily Mail, Villa, West Brom and Brighton and Hove Albion are interested in signing Tavernier from Rangers in the summer transfer window.
The Scottish Sun has claimed that the former Newcastle United full-back is rated at £10 million.
Tavernier, though, seems happy at Rangers, and the following post he made on Twitter after returning to pre-season training with Steven Gerrard’s side suggests that he is not planning to leave the Ibrox club in the summer transfer window, with some fans of the Glasgow giants responding to his message and urging him to stay.

Rangers stay
Villa will play in the Premier League next season, while West Brom will be aiming to finish in the top two of the Championship, and one can understand the temptation to move to the Villans or the Baggies.
However, Rangers are a massive club, and playing under Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard can only make Tavernier and must be very enjoyable.
Tavernier is very popular among the Ibrox faithful, and the former Newcastle right-back could win the Scottish Premiership title with Rangers next season.
