Glasgow Rangers manager Steven Gerrard reportedly wants the Ibrox club’s training complex to be revamped.

It has been reported that Liverpool legend Gerrard wants the Rangers’ training ground to blow away prospective signings and convince them to switch to the Gers.
The Rangers manager and his assistant Gary McAllister want kitchen facilities to improve and cosmetic changes to be made to the Hummel Training Centre, according to the report.

A leaf out of Tottenham Hotspur’s book?
Rangers manager Gerrard is right to (reportedly) revamp and ‘update’ the club’s training facility, which is essentially the players’ ‘office’ on a day-to-day basis.
Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League in England have one of the best training centres anywhere in Europe.
The state-of-the-art facility at Hotspur Way has a covered artificial pitch, pool and hydrotherapy complex, and 15 grass pitches.

Such a brilliant facility has helped Tottenham in their success over the past four or so seasons and has also aided in their quest to make some major signings.
Of course, Tottenham are a wealthy club and are in the Premier League, but they have shown what can be achieved by making the players’ ‘office’ world class.
Rangers manager Gerrard may not be able to make the Ibrox club’s training complex as stunning as that at Tottenham, but the Liverpool legend does seem to be heading in the right direction.
