Newcastle United midfielder Isaac Hayden is reportedly up for sale.

Isaac Hayden may have drifted closer to the Newcastle United exit door, following Sean Longstaff’s decision to commit his future at St. James’ Park.
The midfielder appeared to want a move away from Tyneside before the season started, but Benitez felt he needed to be kept around.
Hayden has made little impact on Newcastle’s first-team this term though, and Longstaff’s contract renewal may knock him even further down the pecking order.
Longstaff has been on the verge of Newcastle’s first-team all campaign, and he surely wouldn’t have signed a new deal without assurances of game-time.

The youngster is now 22, and it is vital for him to be getting regular football for his development.
If Longstaff is to be promoted up the pecking order, then it means that one of Newcastle’s more experienced central midfielders may have to miss out.
And it seems most likely that Longstaff would take Hayden’s place in Newcastle’s squad, leaving the former Arsenal man to look for a new club in January.
