Newcastle United reportedly want Miguel Almiron.

Newcastle United are among the clubs linked with Miguel Almiron, with Everton and West Ham United also reported to be interested in the Atlanta United attacking midfielder.
According to The Sun, Newcastle, West Ham and Everton all are looking at Almiron, who could reportedly cost £15 million in the January transfer window.
The British tabloid has reported that Newcastle manager Rafael Benitez has the 24-year-old high on his wishlist for January.
The former Liverpool manager has not made it clear that he wants the Paraguay international, but the ex-Real Madrid boss has suggested that he is interested in the attacking midfielder.
Benitez (jokingly) told The Shields Gazette when asked about Newcastle’s interest in Almiron: “Who? Who?”
“We’re watching everything,” added Benitez. “America, South America, Asia – everything. We have a player from Japan, another from South Korea, so we know we can find players everywhere.”

After all, if Benitez was not interested in Almiron, then he could have simply said ‘no’ when asked about the Atlanta attacking midfielder.
It does appear that the Spaniard is keeping tabs on the 24-year-old, but Newcastle may not find it easy to secure his services, given that it could reportedly cost £15m and West Ham and Everton are claimed to want the attacking midfielder as well.
