West Ham have released their 25-man Premier League squad for the 2018-19 season.

Manuel Pellegrini may have dropped a hint that he wants to keep West Ham United youngster Moses Makasi at the London Stadium after including him in the club’s 25-man Premier League squad.
Central midfielder Makasi, 22, is yet to make a senior appearance for the Hammers but has clocked up plenty of outings for the club’s second string – 75 in total.
Now too old to be allowed to play without being registered with cut off at 21 years of age, Makasi had to be included in the West Ham squad if he was going to make an appearance this season.
The Premier League released all 20 official squads on Monday after the summer transfer window closed, and Makasi has been included in the Hammers squad alongside the likes of Marko Arnautovic, Mark Noble and Felipe Anderson.
West Ham are well stocked in the middle of the park, with Noble fighting for a place in the side alongside new signings Jack Wilshere and Carlos Sanchez, as well as Pedro Obiang and Declan Rice.

There are doubts over Makasi’s future at the London Stadium, as he has entered the final 12 months of his West Ham contract which expires on June 30 next summer. He will be allowed to speak to non-English clubs from January 1 under the bosman ruling.
But Pellegrini’s decision to include the former Plymouth Argyle loanee suggests that he sees a future in Makasi in east London, and that could see the midfielder be given a chance to show why he deserves a new deal.
