Patrick Roberts is returning to Manchester City from his loan spell at Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic.

Roberts is scheduled to return to his parent club and Premier League champions City this summer after his loan spell at Celtic comes to an end.
The 21-year-old winger recently hinted to The Scottish Sun that he could return to Celtic Park for the 2018-19 campaign, but the former England Under-20 international winger’s latest comments suggest that he is leaving the Hoops for good.

Roberts told Celtic’s official website: “I’ve had a good two-and-a-half years here. I’ve enjoyed it, I’ve won trophies, I’ve met a lot of good people and I’ve loved every minute of it.
“It’s obviously sad that my time here has come to an end but everything comes to an end and I have a lot of really good memories of playing here.
“The success this season has been incredible and I’m happy that the Celtic fans have had that, because they’ve been amazing.”

Leaving Celtic
Roberts appears to be leaving Celtic, and the City winger will part company with the Glasgow giants a hero.
The 21-year-old has progressed well during his time at the Hoops, and he will have no shortage of options in the summer transfer window should he decide to leave City even on a loan deal.
According to The Express, Premier League duo West Ham and Leicester are interested in securing the services of the former Fulham youngster, who is claimed to be rated at £15 million.
The former England Under-20 international winger would be a good signing for West Ham or Leicester.
