If there is a point of no return at Celtic, Olivier Ntcham might’ve just crossed it.

Ntcham admitted to The Record that he was flattered by reported interest in him from Marseille, amid speculation about a £12 million move [The Scottish Sun].

The Celtic midfielder added that he could well quit the Parkhead club this summer.

Hoops boss Neil Lennon seems like he already wasn’t that keen on the 23-year-old, having only started him a few times since taking over from Brendan Rodgers in February.

And speaking about your future, to the media, at this time of the year, is hardly going to endear him to Ntcham, is it?

The former Manchester City youth, who moved to Parkhead two years ago, is a brilliant player on his day, but it looks more and more likely that he won’t play for the club again.

What he said doesn’t so much qualify as an outburst by transfer market standards but, by the same token, speaking about his future publicly weakens the Bhoys’ in negotiations.

If he makes it public that he’s unhappy then it automatically puts Celtic at a disadvantage and with that in mind, you wonder if there’s any way back for him now.
